Squidward is frequently annoyed by SpongeBob's loud and cheerful behavior, but he sometimes sticks up for SpongeBob and sees him as a friend. Patrick also annoys him due to his stupidity and both Patrick and SpongeBob unknowingly annoy and trespass into his house. Of course, she has the standard rooms you’d expect a house to have, from a bedroom to a living room. We see the house in episodes such as “Krusty Love,” when Mr. Krabs spoils Mrs. Puff with gifts.
Good Neighbors
Squidward puts his dinner in the oven and then comes to SpongeBob's house and sees, to his shock, that SpongeBob made an exact replica of his house. Squidward is now getting very annoyed and demands his vacuum, but SpongeBob ignores him, trying to do everything he can to ensure Squidward stays. Squidward sits on the exact replica of his chair and sees his coffee table, his food, his Art of the Clarinet book, and his pillow SpongeBob was fluffing. Then Squidward sees his hallway, and he sees the chip in the painting from when he moved into his own house. Then he walks into his bathroom and he sees his medicine cabinet and his rash cream. But when SpongeBob shows up, Squidward screams and he slips on the rash cream too many times and his head falls into the toilet, knocking himself out.
Notable SpongeBob Houses
The switch causes Squidward's house to come to life and "awaken" after years of being asleep, which seems like a surprise to them. While Squidward holds a massive hatred towards Patrick, he didn't seem to mind him before SpongeBob's arrival to their neighborhood revealing he could have learned these tendencies from SpongeBob. As shown in the TV special "Truth or Square," Squidward lived a happy life in Bikini Bottom, and even enjoyed his job at the Krusty Krab, only turning bitter and frustrated after SpongeBob moved.
Patrick’s Rock
The character is portrayed as short-tempered, impatient, arrogant, sassy, introverted, condescending, bitter, and misanthropic, and he despises his two neighbors' constant disruptive antics. However, the pair are unaware of Squidward's dislike towards them and see him as a friend. Squidward works as a cashier at the Krusty Krab restaurant, a job which he does not enjoy. Squidward is a sea foam green colored octopus with purple suction cups at the end of his tentacles. Two of his tentacles are used as arms, as well as six composing legs always having one tucked behind the two in front, which also tend to make the shape of a plus sign when he stands in place.

Squidward lives in a house based on the design of the Easter Island statues “Moai.” Of course, you go in through the front door, which is the mouth of the statue. The exterior of Squidward's house resembles the head of a moai, a type of statue found on Easter Island. It has two windows and a wooden door with planks of wood leading to it. In episodes such as "Bunny Hunt" and "Mermaid Pants," a flower or vegetable garden is located behind Squidward's house, with a wooden shed containing gardening supplies. The succès d'estime of Hell's Angels made Hughes the toast of Hollywood and brought the acceptance that had previously eluded him. Although never comfortable in such settings, Hughes became a much sought-after guest at important Hollywood functions, where he could usually be seen off in a corner with one of the screen's great beauties.
Gary the Snail
Often times his anger happens due to SpongeBob and Patrick annoying him even though they don't see how annoying they are. He is often a jerk due to this, though Squilliam is often even more of one than Squidward is. Squidward Tentacles' house or simply Squidward's house is the home of Squidward Tentacles. It is one of the main locations for the SpongeBob SquarePants series.

He lies to SpongeBob that he has to go to the bathroom again, but instead, he runs upstairs, looking for his vacuum cleaner. When Squidward opens the door and turns on the light, he finds out he is in the gallery room and spots all 492 of his self-portraits hanging on the wall. He looks for the vacuum cleaner in the closet and finds it, but it is stuck in the closet. The vacuum hits Squidward and he crashes into the wall, tilting his self-portraits. He then walks out of SpongeBob's house, but when he goes outside, he realizes that his house had vaporized due to a fire. Squidward had forgotten to bring the casserole which was later on fire and caused Squidward's house to burn up.
However, when he sees the destroyed house, he loves the "house" and crowns Squidward House Fancy prince of the year. "House Fancy" is the first segment of the first episode of season 6, and it is paired with "Krabby Road." In this episode, Squidward tries to make his house fancier than Squilliam's home for House Fancy. Squilliam returns in the aptly named episode "Squilliam Returns," in which Squidward meets him and a crowd of his fans. Squilliam tries to embarrass Squidward by showing the crowd his lowly position as a cashier, but Squidward claims to own a five-star restaurant, and Squilliam agrees to take the group to dinner there, expecting this claim to be exposed as a lie.
Artistic side
He is a mostly unpleasant artist and musician, and his favorite hobbies are painting self-portraits and playing the clarinet. Squidward receives the security system and installs it into his house. He believes that the security system will stop SpongeBob and Patrick from entering his house to speed his Sundays up, but they suddenly come up behind him with an apology cake which it says "Sorry for bugging you so much Squidward" and their fezzes are back on.
He was forced to maintain a false state of happiness, or else face "Human Resources," a thug in the back of the building. Squidward works as the cashier at the Krusty Krab, along with his co-worker, SpongeBob SquarePants. He not only hates his duties but the Krusty Krab itself, and he performs his job rather poorly and with a lack of enthusiasm. He has often expressed a desire to be fired or simply quit, but never makes good on it.
He is intelligent and has a lot of worldly knowledge, especially compared to those of SpongeBob and Patrick. Squidward is also a skilled driver, as he manages to drive virtually everything, from a traditional bike, a boat, car, and even a tractor compared to SpongeBob who can't really do so with a boat due to his nervousness. While he is shown to be PMS 332 in earlier episodes (most noticeable in "Help Wanted"), he changes to PMS 333 in later episodes. Inside the house, Squidward's house decor is distinctively egotistical; Squidward tends to depict his own face all over rugs, portraits, and busts throughout his house. As he has vanity in his own artworks, common examples of such decor are plastered all over his art gallery, with each artwork a varying style of self-portrait.
